“My Lord, grant me to be grateful for Your favor which You bestowed on me and on my parents, and allow me to only do good deeds that please you, and let me, by Your Mercy, be among Your righteous servants”. (Quran 27:19) رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday January 31th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 6th of Jamad-al Akhir 1441 Hijri.
Allah said to them: “I am with you as long as you hold to your regular Salat prayers, give the due alms, believe in My messengers and support them and also loan to Allah a good loan [recognizing His favors on you]. [In return,] I will rescind your misdeeds and admit you into paradise with dwellings surrounded by gardens beneath which rivers flow, but whoever among you reneges on his faith after this covenant, he would have lost the right direction”. (Quran 5:12) وَقَالَ اللَّـهُ إِنِّي مَعَكُمْ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday January 24th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 29th of Jamad-al Awwal 1441 Hijri.
“Did you not see how everyone in the heavens and the earth celebrates His praises; also do the birds flying in formation? Each one knows his own devotional prayers and glorification, [praising his Lord,] and Allah knows well what they all are doing”. (Quran 24:21) أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّـهَ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالطَّيْرُ صَافَّاتٍ ۖ كُلٌّ قَدْ عَلِمَ صَلَاتَهُ وَتَسْبِيحَهُ ۗ وَاللَّـهُ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday January 10th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 15th of Jamad-il Awwal 1441 Hijri.
“O people of faith! Should I guide you to a commerce that can save you from a most painful chastisement, believe in the Divine Sovereign Lord and in His Messenger, strive in His cause with your wealth and selves. That will be better for you if you only know He will then forgive you your sins, and He will let you into gardens of Eden beneath which rivers flow, with eternal pleasant dwellings. That will be the ultimate success”. (Quran 61:10-12) يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ تِجَارَةٍ تُنجِيكُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday January 3rd, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 8th of Jamad-il Awwal 1441 Hijri.
Allah’s Prophet (uwbp) said: “One Salat-prayer in my mosque is better than one thousand Salat-prayers elsewhere, except the Sacred Mosque, and one Salat-prayer in the Sacred Mosque is better than one hundred thousand prayers elsewhere”. صَلاَةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلاَةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ إِلاَّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ وَصَلاَةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ مِائَةِ أَلْفِ صَلاَةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday December 27th, 2019 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 1st of Jamad-il Awwal 1441 Hijri.
Allah’s Prophet (uwbp) said: “The first of his actions for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers“. حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَىٰ وَقُومُوا لِلَّـهِ قَانِتِينَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday December 13th, 2019 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 16th of Rabiu Thani 1441 Hijri.
“To Allah belongs the most beautiful names. Call on Him by His Names, and leave alone those who profane His Names. They will soon receive a just retribution for what they have committed”. (Quran 7:180) وَلِلَّـهِ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ فَادْعُوهُ بِهَا Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday December 6th, 2019 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 9th of Rabiu Thani 1441 Hijri.
“Is it not time for those who have faith that their hearts should soften and become humbled when they hear [the Quranic] admonition from the Absolute Sovereign Lord and the truth that came down, and that they should not be like those who were given a Book, but when time [between Messengers] elapsed [and seemed too long,] their hearts hardened, for a good number of them lead a dissolute life”. (Quran 57:16) أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّـهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday November 29th, 2019 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 2nd of Rabiu Thani 1441 Hijri.
“The heavenly being as well as the Holy Spirit rise towards Him in a day that measures fifty thousand years [of your counting]”. (Quran 70:4) تَعْرُجُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday November 15th, 2019 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 22nd of Rabiul Awwal 1441 Hijri.
Say: “O My servants who had indulged in excesses to their own detriment, never despair of Allah’s Mercy. Indeed, Allah does forgive all sins, for He is the Oft-Forgiving and Most Compassionate Lord”. (Quran 39:53) قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّـهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday November 15th, 2019 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 18th of Rabiul Awwal 1441 Hijri.
