The Guarded Secret & the Hidden Gem

(السِّرِّ الْمَصُونِ وَالدُّرِّ الْمَكْنُونِ)

لِلْعَارِفْ بِاللهِ الشَّيْخ أَحْمَد الرِّفَاعِي رضي الله عنه

يَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ  يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ بِالتَّعَلُّمِ وَالْفِقْهُ بِالتَّفَقُّهِ وَمَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ وَإِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ

 Allah’s Messenger Rasul Allah (upon whom be peace) said: “O people, knowledge must be sought for one to become learned, and understanding must be sought through guidance. When Allah intends benefit for someone, He will deepen his understanding of religion, and among Allah’s subjects, the scholars fear Him most.”

To my dear brothers, sisters and children on the path,

Here is a token of my gratitude to my Lord Allah عز وجل Who guided me to read, learn, recite and share such lofty prayers of the peer of Allah’s righteous Awliya and beacon of knowledge and devotion Sidi Abdul Qãdir Gilãni t, and to eventually venture in this attempt to transmit and share some of the meanings of such unique collection of exalted prayers and Salawãt, originally in Arabic to modern English language to facilitate sharing with the seekers.

These are selection of prayers of [أحْزَاب] and daily [أوْرَاد] recited by Sidi Abdul Qãdir Gilãni t and taught to generations of students of his school all around the world.

I am indeed blessed to share this treasury of spiritual knowledge and devotional prayers, and to offer it to the seekers on the Path, to select and recite a selection [حِزْب] periodically, or to make a daily Salawãt-Durud [وِرْد] as regular reading, to understand and to ponder the meaning of such recital, the benefits of such practice will surely manifest in one’s life herein and become the best of provisions for the hereafter.

Always seeking and praying for Allah’s special Mercy for all, and invoking Allah’s special regards.
