Friday Sermon

“Know the absolute fact that there is no Divine Sovereign Lordship except that of Allah, and ask Him to forgive you [should you make a mistake], and pray to Him to forgive the believing men and believing women, for Allah surely knows whatever changes you go through [in the down world], and He also knows your ultimate destiny [thereafter]”. (Quran 47:19) أَفْضَلُ الذِّكْرِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَفْضَلُ الدُّعَاءِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday July 24th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 3rd of Zul-Hijja 1441 Hijri.

“And among His miraculous signs is the creation of the heavens and earth, and the variation of languages [you speak], and your skin colors. These are clear proofs for those who have knowledge”. (Quran 30:22) وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَانِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّلْعَالِمِينَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday July 17th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 26th of Zul-Qi’dah 1441 Hijri.

“The Last Hour will not take place until my followers copy the deeds of the previous nations and follow them very closely, span by span, and cubit by cubit”. لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَأْخُذُ أُمَّتِي بِأَخْذِ الْقُرُونِ قَبْلَهَا Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday July 10th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 19th of Zul-Qi’dah 1441 Hijri.

“Surely this humanity of yours is one, and I am your Lord so worship [only] Me”. (Quran 21:92) إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُونِ Ibn Abbas (ral) said: “Between Adam and Noah ten centuries, and between Noah and Ibrahim ten centuries, and between Ibrahim and Musa seven hundred years, and between Musa and Isa one-thousand five hundred years, and between Isa and our Prophet (upon all of them be peace) six hundred years”. “All of what is in the heavens and earth continuously celebrates the praises of the Divine Sovereign Lord. His is the kingdom, and to Him all praises are due, and He has the Supreme Power over everything”. (Quran 64:1) يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّـهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday June 19th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 26th of Zul-Qi’dah 1441 Hijri.

“And I forgive the one who repents, who believes [in the Message], engages in doing righteous deeds and follows the guidance”. (Quran 20:82) وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِّمَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَىٰ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday June 19th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 27th of Shawwal 1441 Hijri.

“And Allah will save the pious ones by [awarding them] what they aspired to win. Thereat, no harm will ever touch them, nor will they grieve”. (Quran 39:61) وَيُنَجِّي اللَّـهُ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا بِمَفَازَتِهِمْ لَا يمَسُّهُمُ السُّوءُ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ  Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday June 12th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 20th of Shawwal 1441 Hijri.

“And those who found guidance [in what was brought down from their Lord], Allah increases their ability to follow His guidance, and He inspires them their piety”. (Quran 47:17) وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا زَادَهُمْ هُدًى وَآتَاهُمْ تَقْوَاهُمْ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday June 5th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 13th of Shawwal 1441 Hijri.

Allah AwJ says: “O believers! Guard yourselves [against disobeying] Allah, and only speak what is true and correct. He will then guide your actions to do what is right, and He will forgive you your sins, and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger would have won a magnificent success”. (Quran 33:70-71) يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا   يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَمَن يُطِعِ اللَّـهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا  Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday May 29th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 6th of Shawwal 1441 Hijri.

Allah’s Messenger (pboh) said: “The feet of the slave of Allah shall not move [on the Day of Judgment] until he is asked about five things: about his life and what he did with it, about his knowledge and what he did with it, about his wealth and how he earned it and where he spent it on, about his body and for what did he wear it out”. انْظُرُوا إِلَى هَذَا الرَّجُلِ الَّذِي قَدْ نَوَّرَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday May 22nd, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 29th of Ramadan 1441 Hijri.
