Friday Sermon

The Prophet (SAL) said: “The Holy Spirit (Jibreel [ِAS]) has brought to my awareness [breather into my soul] that no soul will die until it has completed its appointed term and received its provision in full, so fear Allah and do not be desperate in seeking provision, and no one of you should be tempted to seek provision by means of committing sin if it is slow in coming to him, for that which is with Allah can only be reached by obeying Him”. إنَّ رُوحَ القدُسِ نفثَ في رُوْعي أنَّ نفسًا لنْ تموتَ حتَّى تستكملَ أجلَها وتستوعبَ رِزقها Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday September 10th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 3rd of Safar 1443 Hijri.

“Surely, the well-beloveds of Allah shall have no fear, nor will they ever have regret [for leaving this down world]”. (Quran 10:62) أَلَا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ  Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday September 3rd, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 26th of Muharram 1443 Hijri.

Surely this [revelation] is the ascertained very truth. Therefore, exalt the Name of your Lord [above all what they ascribe to Him] for He is indeed the Most Magnificent .” (Quran 56:95-96) إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ الْيَقِينِ‏ فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 27th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 19th of Muharram 1443 Hijri.

Pursuit of Jannah-Paradise remains blocked by deception [that leads to the dangers of abomination, hardships, and undesirable], while hellfire is surrounded with temptations and passion, inviting people to enter it. .” (Hadith) الجنة محفوفة بالمكاره والنار حُفَّت بالشهوات Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 20th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 5th of Muharram 1441 Hijri.

“Souls possess qualities dedicated to their own kind, whoever among them is guided to recognize the Divinity of Allah will be with his own kind, and whoever is dedicated otherwise, will be in discord and have friction and dissonance.” (Hadith) الأَرْوَاحُ جُنُودٌ مُجَنَّدَةٌ فَمَا تَعَارَفَ مِنْهَا ائْتَلَفَ وَمَا تَنَاكَرَ مِنْهَا اخْتَلَفَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 13th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 5th of Muharram 1441 Hijri.

“Implore your Lord for His forgiveness, and repent to Him, for my Lord is certainly Most Compassionate and He is loving kind [towards His creations]”. (Quran 11:90) وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوا إِلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي رَحِيمٌ وَدُودٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday July 30th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 20th of Dhul Hijjah 1441 Hijri.

“Allah has made the pilgrimage to the House obligatory for those who can have the means and access to reach it, and whoever still denies the truth, then Allah has no need of anyone”. (Quran 3:97) وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا Eid-Ul Adha Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Tuesday Jul 20th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 10st of Dhul Hijjah 1441 Hijri.

“The first [Sacred] House that was dedicated for humanity [to worship their Lord] is that one in Bacca, and which is full of blessings and guidance for all mankind. ﴾96﴿ In it are manifest signs, including the station where Abraham stood, and whoever enters it is safe;- and [in that regard,] Allah has made the pilgrimage to the House obligatory for those who can have the means and access to reach it, and whoever still disbelieve [in this Message], then Allah has no need of anyone”. “Payment of the debt one owes to Allah [Azza wa Jalla] takes precedence and priority to pay over paying one’s debts to people”. “Pay Allah’s Debt first, and He will help you pay your debts to His creation, and only Allah has the means to provide the resources He makes available to whomever He Wills”. دَيْنُ اللهِ أَحَقُّ بِالأَداءِ مِنْ دَيْن الْعَبْدِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday Jul 9th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 29th of Dhul Qa’dah 1441 Hijri.

“O children of Adam! Whenever messengers [chosen] from among yourselves come and narrate My revelations to you, whoever complies with piety and conforms will have nothing to fear or to be sorrowful about [in the hereafter]”. (Quran 7:35) يَا بَنِي آدَمَ إِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنكُمْ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِي ۙ فَمَنِ اتَّقَىٰ وَأَصْلَحَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ “Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday July 2nd, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 22nd of Dhul Qa’dah 1441 Hijri.
