“Or better is the one who stays obedient in his devotion [to his Lord] during the late hours of the night, bowing in prostration and standing up [piously], always on his guard, cautious about the inevitable upcoming event of the hereafter, and aspiring sincerely to receive the Mercy of his Lord. [Hence,] Say: “Are those who are endowed with knowledge equal to those who know nothing?” Certainly, only those who have true understanding will be mindful [of this recital].” (Qur’an 39:9) أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَانِتٌ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَائِمًا يَحْذَرُ الْآخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُو رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِ Friday Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday, July 22nd, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 23th of Dhul Hijjah 1443 Hijri.

“Each one of you is a shepherd, and every shepherd is responsible for his flock. The Imam is a shepherd, and he is responsible for his community, the husband is a shepherd, and he is responsible for his family, the wife is a shepherd and she is responsible for her family and children, and the worker is a shepherd, and is responsible for the property of his employer… Surely, you are all shepherds and you are responsible for your flock.” (Prophetic Hadith) كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ Friday Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday, June 17th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 18th of Dhul Qa’dah 1443 Hijri.
“Also [mention] Thu-Noon, when he left off in anger and thought that We cannot control him. “Allah thus guides to His Light whoever He wants, and Allah gives people parables [to understand], and Allah knows everything“. “Help each other to do what is good and beneficial and to uphold piety, but do not cooperate in support of sins and aggression towards others, and beware of Allah, for Allah is most strict in punishment“. “Whoever does good deeds having faith, whether a male or a female, We will grant him a good life, and We will compensate them later with better rewards than what they did”. (Qur’an 16:97) مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ Friday Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday, May 20th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 19th of Shawwal 1443 Hijri.
ِ”After I am gone, you will see great conflict. I urge you to adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah path of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs. Cling stubbornly to it, and beware of newly-invented matters, for every innovation is a going astray“. (Prophetic Hadith) سَتَرَوْنَ مِنْ بَعْدِي اخْتِلاَفًا شَدِيدًا فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِسُنَّتِي وَسُنَّةِ الْخُلَفَاءِ الرَّاشِدِينَ الْمَهْدِيِّينَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday May 13th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 12th of Shawwal 1443 Hijri.
ِAllah’s Prophet (uwbp) said: “Allah, the Most High has revealed to me that you (people) should be humble, so that no one transgresses against another, or boasts himself towards the other“. (Hadith) إِنَّ اَللَّهَ أَوْحَىٰ إِلَيَّ أَنْ تَوَاضَعُوا، حَتَّى لَا يَبْغِيَ أَحَدٌ عَلَى أَحَدٍ، وَلَا يَفْخَرَ أَحَدٌ عَلَى أَحَدٍ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday May 6th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 5th of Shawwal 1443 Hijri.
