“The Day when the earth is replaced by a different earth, and the skies as well. “And who is better in religious devotion than one who directs his whole being faithfully in submission to the Divine Sovereign Lord, and follows the conformity of Abraham in leaning to the truth with steadfastness? And Allah has raised Abraham to the station of His nearness [among] the most privileged ones.” (Hadith) وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِينًا مِّمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّـهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ وَاتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۗوَاتَّخَذَ اللَّـهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلًا بِاللهِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday February 1st, 2019 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 27th of Jamadul-Awwal 1440 Hijri.
“This [Revelation] is a clear Statement for all people, a guidance and a keen exhortation for those who take heed.” (Quran 3:138) هَـٰذَا بَيَانٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday January 18th, 2019 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 12th of Jamadul-Awwal 1440 Hijri.
“True prayers that receive answers are directed to Him alone, and those they call upon deities other than Him, they cannot answer a thing [anyhow]. It is similar to someone who stretches out his hands to the water to reach his mouth to drink, but this way the hands never reach the mouth. “O believers! Exalt the invocations of Allah’s praises incessantly, and celebrate his praises morning and evening. He is the One Who is endowing you continuously with His Grace, and His angels constantly pray for you, to deliver you out of the layers of darkness into the Light, and He is Most Compassionate towards the believers.” (Quran 33:41-43) يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّـهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday January 4th, 2019 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 28th of Rabi’u Thani 1440 Hijri.
“Say: “Strive with good deeds, for Allah will see [and value] what you do, and [so will] His Messenger and the believers, and you will be brought back later to the One Who knows thoroughly the hidden mysteries of the unseen, Who already knows what is clear and manifest, and He will then inform you about all what you did.” (Quran 9:105) وَقُلِ اعْمَلُوا فَسَيَرَى اللَّـهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 28th, 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 21st of Rabi’u Thani 1440 Hijri.
“This message is from Suleiman (Solomon ) and is [as follows]: In the name of the Sovereign Lord the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate.” (Quran 27:30) إِنَّهُ مِن سُلَيْمَانَ وَإِنَّهُ بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 21st, 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 14th of Rabi’u Thani 1440 Hijri.
“Direct yourself exclusively toward the religion [of Allah]. Such is the innate nature Allah had instilled in people. What Allah created is not subject to modification or changes, and such is the valuable correct religion [to follow], but most people do not know.” (Quran 30:30) فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا ۚ فِطْرَتَ اللَّـهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّـهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 14th, 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 7th of Rabi’u Thani 1440 Hijri.
“The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, “Man’s feet will not move on the Day of Resurrection before he is asked about his life, how did he consume it, his knowledge, what did he do with it, his wealth, how did he earn it and how did he dispose of it, and about his body, how did he wear it out.” (At-Tirmidhi) لا تَزُولُ قَدَمَا الْعَبْدِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يُسْأَلَ عَنْ أَرْبَعٍ : عَنْ عُمْرِهِ فِيمَا أَفْنَاهُ , وَعَنْ شَبَابِهِ فِيمَا أَبْلاهُ , وَعَنْ مَالِهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ اكْتَسَبَهُ وَفِيمَا أَنْفَقَهُ , وَعَنْ عِلْمِهِ مَاذَا عَمِلَ فِيهِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 7th, 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 29th of Rabi’ul Awwal 1440 Hijri.
