“Their side limbs often call off their resting on their beds. They call on their Lord in reverence with aspiration that their prayers to be accepted, and they live on what We provide for them”. (Qur’an 16:32) تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday May 4th 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 18th of Sha’ban 1439 Hijri.
“once you withdraw from their town and [leave them to] what they worship except for Allah, then take a shelter in the cave, and your Lord will certainly extend a gift of His Mercy to you, and He will ease your present hardship”. (Qur’an 18:16) وَإِذِ اعْتَزَلْتُمُوهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا اللَّـهَ فَأْوُوا إِلَى الْكَهْفِ يَنشُرْ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِهِ وَيُهَيِّئْ لَكُم مِّنْ أَمْرِكُم مِّرْفَقًا Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday April 27th 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 10th of Sha’ban 1439 Hijri.
[Allah SwT says]: “Those who make a covenant with you are no less pledging their allegiance to Allah. The Hand of Allah is over their hands”. (Qur’an 48:10) إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُبَايِعُونَكَ إِنَّمَا يُبَايِعُونَ اللَّـهَ يَدُ اللَّـهِ فَوْقَ أَيْدِيهِمْ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday April 20th 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 3rd of Sha’ban 1439 Hijri.
[Allah then said]: “O Messengers! Eat from the good and wholesome food and engage in doing righteous deeds. I fully know what you are doing”. (Qur’an 23:51) أَيَا أَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوا مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحًا ۖإِنِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday April 13th 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 27th of Rajab 1439 Hijri.
Anas bin Malik narrated that a man asked Allah’s Messenger [uwbp]: “When will the Last Hour take place O Messenger of Allah? He replied: “What have you prepared for it?” The man replied, “Not much supererogatory [extra] prayers, extra fasting or charity, but I love Allah and His Messenger”. Allah’s Messenger [uwbp] then said: “You will be with the one you love, you will stand for what you earned yourself, and Allah disposes of endowing you with what you expected”. أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ ، وَعَلَيْكَ مَا اكْتَسَبْتَ ، وَعَلَى اللهِ مَا احْتَسَبْتَ . Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday April 6th 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 19th of Rajab 1439 Hijri.
“And yet, man still transgresses [and disputes], When he sees his own opinion as sufficient. But back to your Lord is the [preset] final destination [of all]”. (Qur’an 96:6-8) كَلَّا إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَيَطْغَىٰ * أَن رَّآهُ اسْتَغْنَىٰ * إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ الرُّجْعَىٰ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday March 30th 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 12th of Rajab 1439 Hijri.
[Allah] said: “Once guidance from Me reaches you, whoever then follows My guidance, such one will not stray or suffer further adversities”. (Quran 20:123) فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقَىٰ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday March 23rd 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 6th of Rajab 1439 Hijri.
“All voices then bow low in reverence of the All-Merciful Lord, and you can barely hear anything but some soft whispering”. (Quran 20:108) وَخَشَعَتِ الْأَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ فَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْسًا Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday March 16th 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 28th of Jamadal Akhira 1439 Hijri.
“O Beloved of the penitents, the source of jubilation and joy of the Gnostics, the Peace and Satisfaction of the heart a of the worshipers, the true Comforter of those who resign to Your worship, the safe shelter of those who take refuge in You, the supporting comfort of the desperate, and to You, the hearts of the true believers constantly yearn, being in Your Holy constant Presence is the reward of those who love You, while those who fear You persevere more eagerly to please You, our Lord…“ سَجَدَ لَكَ سَوَادِي، وَآمَنَ بِكَ فُؤَادِي، وهَذِهِ يَدِي، وَمَا جَنَيْتُ بِهَا عَلَى نَفْسِي، يَا عَظِيمُ، يُرْجَى لِكُلِّ عَظِيمٍ، اغْفِرِ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِيمَ، سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ، وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ، بِحَوْلِهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ، سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ…
“And also among His signs is that He created from yourselves spouses you live with them in peace, and He placed love and compassion between you. These are certainly clear signs for people who reflect” (Quran 30:21) وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday February 16th 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 29th of Jamadul ‘Ula 1439 Hijri.
