“We revealed this Quran at a preordained time and it came down to validate the truth, for We sent you [with it] as a carrier of glad tidings and as a warner [bearing the full truth]. “. “O people! We created you of a single [pair] of a male and a female, and We made you into nations and tribes to recognize each other and share knowledge. The most noble among you in the sight of Allah are the most pious; certainly Allah is All-Knowing and He is well acquainted with everything”. (Quran 49:13) يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّـهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday September 8th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 17th of Thul-Hijjah 1438 Hijri.
“At Thy Command my Lord here I come. Surely my Lord is the Source of all goodness, He disposes and allocates all benefits. At Thy Command my Lord here I come, surely have no associate here I come. You are the true source of all praises, Grace comes from You, and the Kingdom belongs to You my Lord, You surely have no partner or associates”. لبيك اللهم لبيك، والخير كله بيديك، لبيك لا شريك لك لبيك. إن الحمد والنعمة لك والملك، لا شريك لك Eid-ul Adha Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday September 1st 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 10th of Thul-Hijjah 1438 Hijri.
“His Lord then brought him nigh and guided him“. (Quran 20:122) Allah’s Messenger uwbp says: “No good deeds are superior in the Sight of Allah to those performed during the first ten days of the month of Thul-Hijja”. [Sahih Bukhari] “ثُمَّ اجْتَبَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ وَهَدَىٰ” يَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : «مَا مِنْ عَمَلٍ أَزْكَىٰ عِنْدَ اللهِ وَلَا أَعْظَمُ أَجْراً مِنْ خَيْرٍ يَعْمَلُهُ فِي عَشْرِ الْأَضْحَىٰ» [البخاري] Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 25th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 3rd of Thul-Hijjah 1438 Hijri.
“Let the [preset individual life span and] time witness, that man is certainly at loss, except for those who believe [in their Lord], who do righteous deeds, recommend to each other what is right and true, and who advise each others to endure their adversities with patience”. (Quran 103:1-3) وَالْعَصْرِ * إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ * إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ * Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 18th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 25th of Thul-Qi’da 1438 Hijri.
“O believers! You keep seeking temporal gains of this down world, while Allah wants the hereafter [for you], and Allah is Supreme in Power and Wise”. (Quran 8:67) تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ الدُّنْيَا وَاللَّهُ يُرِيدُ الْآَخِرَةَ ۗ وَاللَّـهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 11th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 18th of Thul-Qi’da 1438 Hijri.
“Allah enjoins what is just and equitable, truthfulness and sincerity in one’s devotion, and to maintain good kinship with one’s family, and He forbids obscenity, abomination and transgression. He exhorts you [to observe His commands] so perhaps you will remember“. (Quran 16:90) إِنَّ اللَّـهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَيَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ ۚ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 4th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 11th of Thul-Qi’da 1438 Hijri.
“And when My servants ask you about Me, I am indeed near, and I surely answer the prayers of one who calls upon Me. they must respond to My call, and put their faith in Me in order to attain guidance and reach true understanding”. (Quran 2:186) وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖفَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday July 28th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 5th of Thul-Qi’da 1438 Hijri.
[Noah said:]”I said [to them], ‘Ask forgiveness from your Lord, for He is oft-Forgiving; ” “He will send you rain in abundance; ” “He will grant you wealth and children, make you gardens and run rivers for you; ” “how is it that you cannot see the Divine Sovereignty and Majesty as due to Allah?”. اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday July 21st 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 27th of Shawwal 1438 Hijri.
“O believers! When the call to the congregational Salat prayers of Friday is sounded, then hasten and hearken to the admonition, join the celebration of the praises of the Divine Sovereign Lord“.
