“You were the One Who monitored and observed them, and You are the sure Witness over all things”. “And among His (miraculous) signs is that He created from yourselves spouses you live with them in peace, and He placed love and compassion between you. “They have not really valued Allah to His true esteem. But Allah is surely Most Powerful, and He holds highly to His Divine Eminence”. (Quran 22:74) مَا قَدَرُوا اللَّـهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 15th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 26th of Rabi’ul Awwal 1439 Hijri.
“It is not given that Allah should speak to a mortal [directly] except through inspiration, or from behind a veil [indirectly], or by sending him a messenger to convey by Allah’s permission whatever He wills, for He is certainly the Most Sublime, Exalted and All-Wise”. (Quran 42:51) وَمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُكَلِّمَهُ اللَّـهُ إِلَّا وَحْيًا أَوْ مِن وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ أَوْ يُرْسِلَ رَسُولًا فَيُوحِيَ بِإِذْنِهِ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 8th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 19th of Rabi’ul Awwal 1439 Hijri.
“They feel no need or inequity in their hearts towards others, instead, they give others preference over themselves even if they had personal needs, and whoever is guarded against his own miserliness, such are the successful ones”. (Quran 59:9) لَا يَجِدُونَ فِي صُدُورِهِمْ حَاجَةً مِّمَّا أُوتُوا وَيُؤْثِرُونَ عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَةٌ ۚ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 1st 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 11th of Rabi’ul Awwal 1439 Hijri.
“O people of faith! Revere Allah and believe in His Messenger, He will double your reward as His Mercy, and He will assign you a guiding light that puts you on the Straight Path, and He will forgive you [your past sins]; for surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving and Most Compassionate”. (Quran 58:28) يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ وَآمِنُوا بِرَسُولِهِ يُؤْتِكُمْ كِفْلَيْنِ مِن رَّحْمَتِهِ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ نُورًا تَمْشُونَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّـهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday November 24th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 5th of Rabi’ul Awwal 1439 Hijri.
“Say: “O people! I am the Messenger of Allah to all of you. He is the One to Whom belongs the dominion of the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. There is no Divine Sovereign Lord besides Him. He gives life and causes death.” Therefore believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet who believes in the absolute Sovereignty of Allah and His Words, and follow him so perhaps you may attain guidance”. “O people! Fear your Lord Who created you from a single being, and Who created out of him his spouse, and He generated and spread from them an extremely high number of men and women, and fear Allah [not to disobey Him], and the womb ties [not to break the kinship], and Whose Name you take for an oath between you, for Allah is certainly a Monitoring Guardian over you”.
