Khutba

“Here comes to you evident proofs from your Lord. Hence, whoever can see it with clarity, the benefit will be his, and whoever does not want to see the reality [as it is], it will be to his own detriment, and I am not here a keeper over you”. (Quran 6:104) قَدْ جَاءَكُم بَصَائِرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنْ أَبْصَرَ فَلِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ عَمِيَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۚ وَمَا أَنَا عَلَيْكُم بِحَفِيظٍ “Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday June 18th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 8th of Dhul Qa’dah 1441 Hijri.

“Were you present witnesses when death came to Jacob? When he said to his children: “What will you adore after me,” they replied: “We shall adore your Divine Sovereign Lord Who is the Divine Sovereign Lord of your fathers Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac, the One [and only] Divine Sovereign Lord, and we surrender [in Islam] to Him”. (Quran 2:133) أَمْ كُنْتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ بَعْدِي قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ إِلَهَكَ وَإِلَهَ آبَائِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ إِلَهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ “Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday June 11th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 1st of Dhul Qa’dah 1441 Hijri.

“Allah is the One Who defines the straight path. Some pathways are detached [from it], and had it been Allah’s Will, He would have guided all of you [on the straight path]”. (Quran 16:9) ‎‏ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَائِرٌ ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday June 4th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 23rd of Shawwal 1442 Hijri.

“[Behold!] You have now received a Light from Allah as well as an explicit Book. With it, Allah guides to the path of peace those who follow and seek His blessings, and He delivers them out of [the pathway of] darkness into the Light by His permission, and Allah is He Who guides them towards a Straight Path”. (Quran 5:15-16) ‎‏ لَقَدْ جَاءَكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ نُورٌ وَكِتَابٌ مُّبِينٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday May 28th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 16th of Shawwal 1442 Hijri.

“And whichever direction you turn, Allah’s presence is surely there, for Allah is indeed the All-Pervading and the All-Knowing.” (Quran 2:115)‎‏ فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday May 21st, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 9th of Shawwal 1442 Hijri.

“Whoever makes the Hereafter his main concern, Allah will fill his heart wealth, and help him manage his concerns, and all his needs in the world will be driven to him willingly or unwillingly. And whoever makes the world his goal, Allah puts poverty right before his eyes, and his interest will be confusing, and no gain will come to him, except what has been decreed for him.” (Hadith )‎‏ إِنَّ الدِّينَ النَّصِيحَةُ إِنَّ الدِّينَ النَّصِيحَةُ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday May 14th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 2nd of Shawwal 1442 Hijri.

Indeed, We revealed the Quran during the [preset] Night of Destiny. ﴾1﴿ And what explanation can tell you enough about the Night of Destiny! ﴾2﴿ The Night of Destiny is certainly more rewarding than one thousand months [of devotion]. ﴾3﴿ Heavenly beings along with the [Holy] Spirit come down together during it by permission of their Lord, carrying His Command. ﴾4﴿ A [Night of] Peace it is, [and such extraordinary spiritual event will last] until dawn. ﴾5﴿ (Quran 97 ) إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ ‏ تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ ‎‏  ‎‏ سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday May 7th,…

“And also among His signs is that He created from yourselves spouses you live with them in peace, and He placed love and compassion between you. These are certainly clear signs for people who reflect”. (Quran 30:21 ) وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday April 30th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 11th of Ramadan 1442 Hijri.

“And had the people of the towns believed and held onto piety [to guard themselves against evil], We would have certainly granted them widespread blessings from the skies and the land”. (Quran 7:96 ) وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْقُرَىٰ آمَنُوا وَاتَّقَوْا لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَرَكَاتٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday April 23rd, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 11th of Ramadan 1442 Hijri.

“[O people!] Believe in Allah and in His Messenger, and spend [in charity] from what He deputized you to spend from [according to His laws]. Those amongst you who believe and spend [for the sake of Allah] will receive a great reward”. (Quran 57:7 ) آمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَأَنفِقُوا مِمَّا جَعَلَكُم مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ فِيهِ ۖ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَأَنفَقُوا لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday April 16th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 4th of Ramadan 1442 Hijri.
