“Set your focus on properly living the religion of Islam, before there comes from Allah a Day that cannot be prevented, and on that Day they will be split into groups”. “How can there be doubt about the Divine Sovereign Lord, the Originator and Creator of the heavens and the earth. He is only inviting you to forgive you some of your sins, and to grant you respite for a preset term”. (Quran 14:10) يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday March 13th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 18th of Rajab 1441 Hijri.
“Come back to your Lord with repentance, and submit to Him in Islam before the chastisement befalls you, when there will be no one to help you [out of it]”. (Quran 39:54) وَأَنِيبُوا إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ وَأَسْلِمُوا لَهُ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ الْعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday March 6th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 11th of Rajab 1441 Hijri.
“Be assiduous in observing your obligatory Salat prayers, and particularly the middle one; and stand before Allah in utmost devotion“. “Allah accepts the repentance of those who do wrong in ignorance, and who follow that by repenting quickly and reforming themselves. Such are the penitents whom Allah accepts, for Allah knows everything, and He is All-Wise“. (Quran 4:17) إِنَّمَا التَّوْبَةُ عَلَى اللَّـهِ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السُّوءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ يَتُوبُونَ مِن قَرِيبٍ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday February 21st, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 27th of Jamad-al Akhir 1441 Hijri.
“You cannot attain the reward of trueness [to your Lord] unless you spend [and extend to others generously] from what is dear to you, and Allah knows well what you spend”. (Quran 3:92) لَن تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُوا مِن شَيْءٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّـهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday February 141th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 20th of Jamad-al Akhir 1441 Hijri.
“And when they hear what was revealed to the Prophet, you can see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they recognize of the truth. They say: “Our Lord, we believe. Write us among the witnesses”. (Quran 5:83) وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ تَرَىٰ أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُوا مِنَ الْحَقِّ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday January 31th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 6th of Jamad-al Akhir 1441 Hijri.
“My Lord, grant me to be grateful for Your favor which You bestowed on me and on my parents, and allow me to only do good deeds that please you, and let me, by Your Mercy, be among Your righteous servants”. (Quran 27:19) رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday January 31th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 6th of Jamad-al Akhir 1441 Hijri.
Allah said to them: “I am with you as long as you hold to your regular Salat prayers, give the due alms, believe in My messengers and support them and also loan to Allah a good loan [recognizing His favors on you]. [In return,] I will rescind your misdeeds and admit you into paradise with dwellings surrounded by gardens beneath which rivers flow, but whoever among you reneges on his faith after this covenant, he would have lost the right direction”. (Quran 5:12) وَقَالَ اللَّـهُ إِنِّي مَعَكُمْ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday January 24th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 29th of Jamad-al Awwal 1441 Hijri.
“Did you not see how everyone in the heavens and the earth celebrates His praises; also do the birds flying in formation? Each one knows his own devotional prayers and glorification, [praising his Lord,] and Allah knows well what they all are doing”. (Quran 24:21) أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّـهَ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالطَّيْرُ صَافَّاتٍ ۖ كُلٌّ قَدْ عَلِمَ صَلَاتَهُ وَتَسْبِيحَهُ ۗ وَاللَّـهُ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday January 10th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 15th of Jamad-il Awwal 1441 Hijri.
