“Indeed! We have sent you as a witness, bringing the good news, and as a warner. A harbinger heralding people to Allah by His permission, and as a bright shining lamp spreading the light“. “The Prophet (ﷺ) gave a sermon during his hajj and said: Time has completed a cycle and assumed the form of the day when Allah created the heavens and the earth. The year contains twelve months of which four are sacred, three of them consecutive, viz. Dhul-Qa’dah, Dhul-Hijja and Muharram and also Rajab of Mudar which comes between Jumadah and Sha’ban“. إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِندَ اللَّـهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّـهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday August 21th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 2nd of Zul-Hijja 1441 Hijri.
“Most Exalted is the Majesty of Allah the Supreme and High, and He is the True King. There is surely no [added] divinity besides His sole Divine Sovereign Lordship, and He is the Lord of the Most Gracious Magnificent Throne”. (Quran 23:116) فَتَعَالَى اللَّـهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ ۖ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday August 14th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 24th of Zul-Hijja 1441 Hijri.
“And evince your true endurance by cherishing those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Countenance, [only wanting to gaze upon His Holy Countenance, only want to be with Him, only want His acceptance]”. (Quran 6:28) وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday August 7th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 17th of Zul-Hijja 1441 Hijri.
“And call humanity to perform the pilgrimage. They will come to you on foot, and others will come riding from far distant places “. (Quran 22:27) وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ Eid-ul Adha Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday July 31st, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 10th of Zul-Hijja 1441 Hijri.
“To gaze for the first time at the Holy Ka’ba is a major dignifying honor, a heart melting experience, a spiritual feeling as though one has reached the ultimate nearness of Divine acceptance. in fact, the Holy Ka’ba is like a bride manifesting at the Sacred stage of Divine Majesty, training with the pilgrims circumambulating it, celebrating the Divine Praises, fraught with the delegation of the Merciful Lord Who brought them to fulfill their vow, and eventually to receive the Divine blessings of fulfilling one’s covenant with his Lord”. وَإِذْ بَوَّأْنَا لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ مَكَانَ الْبَيْتِ أَن لَّا تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا وَطَهِّرْ بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْقَائِمِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday July 31st, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 10th of Zul-Hijja 1441 Hijri.
“Know the absolute fact that there is no Divine Sovereign Lordship except that of Allah, and ask Him to forgive you [should you make a mistake], and pray to Him to forgive the believing men and believing women, for Allah surely knows whatever changes you go through [in the down world], and He also knows your ultimate destiny [thereafter]”. (Quran 47:19) أَفْضَلُ الذِّكْرِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَفْضَلُ الدُّعَاءِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Akili on Friday July 24th, 2020 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 3rd of Zul-Hijja 1441 Hijri.
“And among His miraculous signs is the creation of the heavens and earth, and the variation of languages [you speak], and your skin colors. These are clear proofs for those who have knowledge”.
