“And when you are greeted with good regards, return the greeting with better regards, or return the same. Surely Allah takes into account everything [you do].” (Quran 4:86) وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُم بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّوا بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَا أَوْ رُدُّوهَا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَسِيبًا “Friday Suhba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 9th, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 10th of Rabi’ul Awwal 1438 Hijri.
“Allah is the One Who made the best accounts come down [to you]; in a Book wherein some verses may resemble others, yet, uncovering two opposite pathways. The skins of those who fear [to displease] their Lord contract and shudder involuntarily when they hear it; their skins and hearts then become calm and are soothed by listening to the admonition of the Divine Sovereign Lord. ” (Quran 39:23) اللَّـهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا مُّتَشَابِهًا مَّثَانِيَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللَّـهِ “Friday Suhba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 2nd, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 3rd of Rabi’ul Awwal 1438 Hijri.
“They say: “Do we have any say in this matter?” Say [to them]: “All matters are entirely under the control of the Divine Sovereign Lord Himself. ” (Quran 3:154) يَقُولُونَ هَل لَّنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ مِن شَيْءٍ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ الْأَمْرَ كُلَّهُ لِلَّـهِ “Friday Suhba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday November 25th, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 25th of Safar 1438 Hijri.
“Some of you desire the pleasures of this world, and others seek the reward of the hereafter. ” (Quran 3:152) – Are you merely seeking temporal gains of this down world, when Allah wants the hereafter [for you], surely Allah is Supreme in Power and All-Wise. (Quran 8:67) مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ – وَاللَّـهُ يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ Friday Suhba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday October 28th, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 27th of Muharram 1438 Hijri.
“Look how We favor some of them [in worldly ranks] over one another [in this life]. Thus, the favors of the hereafter have more elevated ranks and more abounding grace. ” (Quran 17:21) انظُرْ كَيْفَ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَلَلْآخِرَةُ أَكْبَرُ دَرَجَاتٍ وَأَكْبَرُ تَفْضِيلًا Friday Suhba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday October 14th, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 13th of Muharram 1438 Hijri.
“[All praises are due to the Divine Sovereign Lord,] “He is Supreme above all ranks. Lord of the Divine Throne. “I swear by the Lord of the heavens and the earth that this is as true as your ability to speak.” (Quran 51:23) فَوَرَبِّ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَا أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ Friday Suhba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday September 9th, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 8th of Zul-Hijja 1437 Hijri.
“Our Lord! We heard a harbinger calling (everyone to) faith; “Believe in your Lord;” – and we consented and believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, erase our misdeeds and place us when we die among the true ones [to their Lord].” “Our Lord! “As a reminder for one who fears [to displease his Lord]. A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the sublime lofty skies. The All-Merciful Lord Who has established His dominion over the Divine Throne. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and on earth and everything in-between them, as well as what’s beneath the ground. And if you should speak up [your intentions], He certainly knows all the inner thoughts as well as what’s deeper than that. There is certainly no Divine Sovereign Lord except Him, and to Him belongs all the Beautiful Attributes.”.
