Worship at Times of Turmoil

“Allah brightens and make shine [the face of] someone who hears what I say and understand it correctly, then delivers and conveys what I said to someone who did not hear it, for perhaps a recipient may have better understanding than a listener.(Prophetic Saying) نضَّرَ الله امْرَأً سَمِع مقالتي فَوَعَاهَا، فبَلَّغها مَن لَم يَسْمَعْهَا، فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى لَهُ مِنْ سَامِعٍ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 23rd, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 24th of Rabi’ul Awwal 1438 Hijri.

Heed and Follow the Best of Guidance

“Announce the good news to My servants. Such ones, when they listen to the admonition, they heed and follow what is best in its guidance. Those are the ones whom Allah has guided, and they are the ones who can benefit from their good understanding.” (Quran 39:17-18) فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَاهُمُ اللَّـهُ ۖ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمْ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 16th, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 17th of Rabi’ul Awwal 1438 Hijri. Rituals In Our Lives

“And when you are greeted with good regards, return the greeting with better regards, or return the same. Surely Allah takes into account everything [you do].” (Quran 4:86) وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُم بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّوا بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَا أَوْ رُدُّوهَا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَسِيبًا “Friday Suhba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 9th, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 10th of Rabi’ul Awwal 1438 Hijri.

The Best of Accounts

“Allah is the One Who made the best accounts come down [to you]; in a Book wherein some verses may resemble others, yet, uncovering two opposite pathways. The skins of those who fear [to displease] their Lord contract and shudder involuntarily when they hear it; their skins and hearts then become calm and are soothed by listening to the admonition of the Divine Sovereign Lord. ” (Quran 39:23) اللَّـهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا مُّتَشَابِهًا مَّثَانِيَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللَّـهِ “Friday Suhba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday December 2nd, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 3rd of Rabi’ul Awwal 1438 Hijri.

All Matters are Entirely Under His Control

Love of the Companions

“Some of you desire the pleasures of this world, and others seek the reward of the hereafter. ” (Quran 3:152) – Are you merely seeking temporal gains of this down world, when Allah wants the hereafter [for you], surely Allah is Supreme in Power and All-Wise. Ranks of the Believers

“Look how We favor some of them [in worldly ranks] over one another [in this life]. “[All praises are due to the Divine Sovereign Lord,] “He is Supreme above all ranks. Lord of the Divine Throne. Reminding With the Quran

“Our Lord! We heard a harbinger calling (everyone to) faith; “Believe in your Lord;” – and we consented and believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, erase our misdeeds and place us when we die among the true ones [to their Lord].” “Our Lord!
