“Nothing is hidden from Allah whether it is on earth or in the heavens”. (Quran 3:5) إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday October 27th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 7th of Safar 1439 Hijri.
“And to the Divine Sovereign Lord Allah bow in prostration all those who are in the heavens and on earth, willingly [the believers] and unwillingly [the hypocrites], and their shadows do the same after sunrise and before sunset. [All are in need of Him”. (Quran 13:15) وَلِلَّـهِ يَسْجُدُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَظِلَالُهُم بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday October 20th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 30th of Muharram 1439 Hijri.
“Allah will raise in ranks the believers and those who are endowed with knowledge amongst you, for Allah is certainly aware of what you are doing”. “Here I turn my face exclusively to Him Who originated the heavens and the earth, and I am not a polytheist “. (Quran 6:79) إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا ۖ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday October 6th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 16th of Muharram 1439 Hijri.
“Say: “O My servants who had indulged in excesses to their own detriment, never despair of Allah’s Mercy. Indeed, Allah does forgive all sins, for He is the Oft-Forgiving and Most Compassionate Lord. “. (Quran 53:39) قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّـهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday September 29th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 9th of Muharram 1439 Hijri.
“We revealed this Quran at a preordained time and it came down to validate the truth, for We sent you [with it] as a carrier of glad tidings and as a warner [bearing the full truth]. “. (Quran 17:105) وَبِالْحَقِّ أَنزَلْنَاهُ وَبِالْحَقِّ نَزَلَ ۗ وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday September 15th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 24th of Thul-Hijjah 1438 Hijri.
“O people! We created you of a single [pair] of a male and a female, and We made you into nations and tribes to recognize each other and share knowledge. The most noble among you in the sight of Allah are the most pious; certainly Allah is All-Knowing and He is well acquainted with everything”. (Quran 49:13) يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّـهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday September 8th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 17th of Thul-Hijjah 1438 Hijri.
“His Lord then brought him nigh and guided him“. (Quran 20:122) Allah’s Messenger uwbp says: “No good deeds are superior in the Sight of Allah to those performed during the first ten days of the month of Thul-Hijja”. [Sahih Bukhari] “ثُمَّ اجْتَبَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ وَهَدَىٰ” يَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : «مَا مِنْ عَمَلٍ أَزْكَىٰ عِنْدَ اللهِ وَلَا أَعْظَمُ أَجْراً مِنْ خَيْرٍ يَعْمَلُهُ فِي عَشْرِ الْأَضْحَىٰ» [البخاري] Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 25th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 3rd of Thul-Hijjah 1438 Hijri.
“Let the [preset individual life span and] time witness, that man is certainly at loss, except for those who believe [in their Lord], who do righteous deeds, recommend to each other what is right and true, and who advise each others to endure their adversities with patience”. (Quran 103:1-3) وَالْعَصْرِ * إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ * إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ * Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 18th 2017 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 25th of Thul-Qi’da 1438 Hijri.
“O believers! You keep seeking temporal gains of this down world, while Allah wants the hereafter [for you], and Allah is Supreme in Power and Wise”.
