Bismillah iRahman iRahim

I write this with deep gratitude from the Valley of Mina while on Hajj. I was blessed to be gifted a copy of The Buraq Rider before the journey, and the beautiful descriptions of what Rassul Ullah sal Allahu aleihi wa salam witnessed in the different heavens made me more aware of the hidden but very really world around us.

Knowing that the Angels and Jinn were making the same journey at the very same time, just above and all around, lifted my spirit and touched my heart. The visuals and conversations between the Prophets alaihim assalam transmitted in the book are absolutely awe-inspiring.

May Allah bless its Author and all the Muhadiths that delivered this knowledge to us.

MashaAllah MashaAllah

MashaAllah MashaAllah. It is such great work that entails us to thank the author of this book “Mawlana Sheikh Mohammed Aqil” for his time and great effort to bring deep and insightful knowledge to us to learn about our Master (PBUH). What written in this book is indeed amazing and made me learn that what the Prophet “PBUH” experienced at that time is beyond our comprehension. Undoubtedly this confirms what our scholars taught us of the Hadith Shareef that says

No one knows my real truth except my Lord

“ما عرفني غير ربي"

SubhanaAllah SubhanaAllah

May Allah abundantly reward Baba Sheikh for this book. Ameen

The Burãq Rider

MashaAllah, this book is truly beautiful. As soon as I opened it and began reading, I felt deeply connected to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his journey of Al-Isra wal Mi‘raj. SubhanAllah, it felt as if we were there alongside him. Such a beautiful and moving book.

The Buraq rider

Subhan Allah Subhan Allah Allahu Akbar
I have heard 10's of videos about isra and meraj journey from many different scholars but the details I found in this book were never heard of. I kept wishing while reading that Shaykh would reveal more hidden knowledge (my heart asked for more Gayb ilm). Alhamdulillah, Shaykh revealed what people can understand.
Whenever the glad tidings and blessings came from each prophet and malayk to our prophet sallelahu alaihi wa sallam and his ummah (every single time ummah was mentioned without fail), my heart exploded with unexplainable joy and cried with happiness for Allah's blessings on us to include in his habeeb sallelahu alaihi wa sallam ummah
Ya Rab, Jazakallah Sheikh for this knowledge sharing

Unlike any book on the Miraj I’ve read.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Was Salaatu wa Salaamu ala Rasulihil Kareem

Asalaam Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

A person can marvel at an astonishing building. A structure elevated magnificently inspirational to behold. So much so that you must as the architects and engineers how it was raised from its foundations.
One after the other will explain it to you but there is always one who has dedicated their life and pursuance to knowledge how a building is raised from its foundation to its peak. Not that no other understands but that there is always one that leads the way.

This book was written with years of not only knowledge and understanding but contemplative adoration to Allah and His beloved messenger Muhammad peace and blessings upon him.
He, peace and blessing upon him, said one does not love him unless he is loved more that family and even himself.

The love for our master peace be upon him shows in the compilation of this book. From the beginning (foundation) to the end (its pinnacle) it is structured with Hadiths and ayats from the Quran. No guess work or vague ideas hamper the fluidity of a picture that can only be painted by one who loves knowledge and the path to Allah.

The book is captivating and very difficult to put down once started. The journey of literacy and information is as astonishing as the ascension is full of majesty and honor.

Many may feel they have read the works of plenty of Alims on this subject but I say, having read some books and listened to some lectures and talks, that The Buraq Rider stands in a category of its own.

This is a book I will be reading several times because its essence and beauty like a pitcher of water cannot be consumed in one drink.

I urge all who are truly want a full glass of water and a full breath of air to read the book. I don’t know what else can be said to inspire any Muslim this book be in your hands, consumed by your eyes, and absorbed in the qalb.

I completed reading the book last night and have been feeling blessed to have read it. The more that I read, the more was explained in this book. Full of backing from Quran and Hadith.

I reflected on our Master’s life, upon him be peace, it was one long and destined journey. From the creation of his light pbuh 2,000 years before Adam to his journey to Allah SwT. Then as you follow along you soon understand the love, honor, and endearment Allah SwT had for His beloved and what it would come to mean for His blessed Ummah here in the Dunya and Akhira. From Adam, to Nuh, to Seth, to Ibrahim, to Ismail, to Adnan, to Quraish, to Banu Hashim. and finally to us all came a man loved by Allah’s creation both here and amongst the Malã’ika angels as no one has ever been.

In less than the blink of an eye, Allah Almighty took our Master on a journey of 7,000 years! The description of the Malã’ika tremendous in size beyond the scope of our imagination and their plenitude. The description of each heaven and its names and the mercy Allah showed His beloved each time he felt fear by Jibril a.s. holding him pbuh and wrapping his wings around Allah’s beloved showed the compassion and loved Allah had for Him to draw him nearer to Him.

The whole journey is wrapped around all the Beautiful Names. Al Aziz, Al Wadood, Al Jameel, Ar Rahman, Ar Raheem, Al Hakeem, Ya Dhul Jalali wal Ikhrãm! Noor upon Noor like the sun shines upon the moon and reflects its beauty on us. As a candle shines and its reflection gleams off the mirrors that surround it. All of it is beauty, majesty, mighty, and indescribable power.

The truth is that the effect this book has on me reading Al Isra wal Mi’rãj as you have conveyed it flood my heart with more than I expected. It’s like being in a very warm and congested room and just sitting still as to not exert yourself and someone opens a door and a very cool and refreshing wind gently blows in and revitalizes your very soul.

The Magnificent Journey

What a magnificent book the Buraq Rider The Nocturnal Journey of The Best of Allah’s Creations, by reading it from beginning to end was for me so profound and inspiring with intrigued details. I founded my heart at times being over taking by the events to the point where I felt as though I was part of the journey . Imaging how blessed it was for these special servants of Allah who were chosen for this special light from Allah to have it being placed in their soul , soul after soul generation after generation until it reached the soul of the Beloved Muhammad . I must read for those who wish to be enlightenment .

You can only say as much as Allah allows you to say.
Now is always the night of Mi’rãj. It Is our duty to attempt this journey as best we can since our Rasul (r), may peace and blessings be upon him, went on this journey.
Our Rasul (r), peace and blessings be upon him, was a man, and my first impression to this, his most unique event/journey (Mi’rãj) is that this event should be our event also, our 'Declaration of Independence'. It gives meaning, purpose to life, something beyond our veil of body, the 'Dunya' of existence, beyond Nafs (the self), ego. We don't have to be prisoners of the physical, not any part of it. In fact just to know this much is already a move in the right direction, the path of "La Illaha Il Allah Muhamadon Rasul Allah". But just to know this is not enough, implementation is required. To climb onto this Burãq and reach Jerusalem (Bait al-Maqdis) is our goal, is it not? And so then the Mi’rãj. Our relationship with all the prophets, through our Rasul (r), peace and blessings be upon him, is our effort for closeness to Allah, the Magnificence.
I remember feeling (personal experience) that I had better unity with Jesus (Essa u) may the peace and blessings be upon him, through my following of Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (r), may peace and blessings be upon him. Mi’rãj requires a belief and implementation of a united prophethood. And the heavens? What heaven are we headed for? How many veils will we cross through in our personal unique living quest.

In our lifetime, how  close will we reach in nearness to Allah the Magnificence? How many heavens will we be allowed to traverse and, is this really our intention? How far will our Mi'rãj  take us? The 'Mi'rãj' is 'haq' , otherwise Allah the Magnificence would not let it occur, take place. 'The Burãq Rider' is an invitation to all, to come along, participate, draw near to 'That One' the Magnificence. There is no time to waste.

Let’s get on with it, In-sha Allah.

The Burãq Rider

The Burãq Rider is a spiritually rich and evocative exploration of one of Islam’s most profound and awe-inspiring events: the Night Journey (Isra’) and Ascension (Mi‘raj) of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It weaves together devotional reverence, traditional scholarship, and reflective insight to present this miraculous journey not merely as a historical episode, but as a cosmic sign of Allah’s mercy and honor for His Messenger ﷺ.
