Peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of Allah.
I started reading this book a week ago. I did not complete its full reading.
I reached page twenty-three, yet I swear by Allah that I felt a sense of intimacy and spirituality, the likes of which I have never felt before—so much so that sleep left me.
I took the book and began rereading what I had read aloud to my wife, and we came across new knowledge that we were hearing for the first time.
This immense abundance of divine knowledge outpouring in this book—every time I reread the same page - a new and different meaning becomes clear to me. Glory be to Allah.
Everything mentioned in the book, we believe in with absolute and firm faith, free from any doubt. May Allah grant us your affection and love so that it may be a means for our ascension from our own selves and desire to the closeness of Allah and His noble Messenger.
How beautiful this feeling is—a mixture of clarity and intimacy, which I wish would never end, intertwined with tears of fear and awe before the greatness of the Beloved, Rasulillah Sal Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam (ﷺ).

I just finished reading The Burāq Rider book that you put together and transcribed, and I’m honestly at a loss for words to describe the impact of what I just read.

The last section on the journey affected me deeply. I was actually crying. I have never cried reading a book, prayers, or anything before, but when I reached that section — reading about the Miʿrāj, the ascension, and the journey through the different levels — it really moved me.

The moment that affected me the most was when the Prophet ﷺ was getting closer to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. There were, I believe, about seventy thousand angels who were veiled, and as he approached, Jibrīl عليه السلام had them begin removing their veils. That was the moment that truly brought me to tears, as the Prophet ﷺ continued drawing closer.

Being asked to describe Allah and being unable to do so, and the description of the hand being placed between the shoulders — explained as not feeling like a physical hand as we understand it — was incredibly powerful. Through reading this, I felt like I could truly begin to visualize the journey and the magnificence of it, and the greatness of our Lord.

I’m honestly still at a loss for words. I’m going to pray two nafl prayers now out of gratitude to Allah, send ṣalawāt upon the Prophet ﷺ, and then go to sleep. In shā’ Allāh, I would like to read that specific section of the book again and again, to see what continues to resonate with me and what I learn each time.

Between you and me, it had such an impact — truly such an impact. Thank you, my Shaykh. Thank you for taking the time to put this together for all of us to benefit from and to read. I really appreciate it.

You know, this it's a mistake in fact to call it just a book as the sister has eloquently reflected on. It's much more than that. It's not confined. Uh it certainly is not confined to the ink and to the pages that are manifest on the page. It's beyond that. Allahu Akbar. And Subhan Allah. May Allah Subhana Wa Taala bless you for your wonderful and devoted effort and continued aspiration. Reading The Buraq Rider: The Nocturnal Journey of the Best of Allah (SWT) Creation, Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) was a deeply moving and spiritually uplifting experience for me. From the very first pages, my heart felt connected to the blessed journey of Al-Isrā wal-Mi‘rāj, a miracle that reminds us of the honor, mercy, and مقام (status) of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
It allows the reader to reflect not only on the physical journey of the Prophet ﷺ on Al-Buraq, but also on the spiritual elevation, lessons, and divine wisdom behind this sacred event. Each chapter strengthened my iman and reminded me of Allah’s infinite power and mercy.

What touched me most was how the book brings the reader closer to the Prophet ﷺ—his patience, his honor, and his unique closeness to Allah (SWT). While reading, I felt humility, gratitude, and a renewed sense of love for Allah’s Messenger ﷺ. It encouraged me to reflect more deeply on my prayers, especially the gift of Salah, which was granted during this blessed night.

This book is not only a narration of history, but a source of spiritual nourishment. It is a reminder that no matter how heavy life becomes, Allah (SWT) can elevate His beloved servants beyond all limits. I would highly recommend The Buraq Rider to anyone seeking to strengthen their faith, increase their love for the Prophet ﷺ, and reflect on one of the greatest miracles in Islamic history.

Asalaam o Alaikum our Dearest and illuminated Shaykh, this is a very wonderful, beautiful and soul quenching reflection, Subhan Allah. It is a mistake in my humble thought to call it a book as the sister has eloquently articulated. It is much more than that, it is not confined to the ink and the pages that are manifest on the page, it is like looking and being warmed by a beautiful candle that is nourishing your basic needs with heat, light and mental comfort. It is beyond that even Allah Hu Akbar. May Allah Subhana Wa Tallah bless you for your wonderfully devoted, selfless and tireless effort. It is also not lost that your Zawiya and such projects have always been an aspiration. Your singular aim is always to uplift the Ummah, community on a micro level. The Burāq Rider:
al-hamduli’llah hamdān kathīrān, was-salātu was Salāmu Ala Sayyidina Rasul’Allah [saws]. We thank Allahu ta’ala for the likes of Sidi Shaykh al-Akili Baba [hafidhu’Llah] for delivering a clear and honest risalah to the umma in this unparalleled age of misinformation… This book has subtle details of the blessed event of al-Isra wal-Mi’rāj… within this manuscript the reader will find unveilings that have confounded many a seeker of the ummah of Rasul’Allah [saws] made clear…It’s articulation is a proof of the wārithū anbiyyah and continuous flow of Nur al-Muhammadi[saws]…
The Burāq in reality is tajallī-driven conveyance — a movement initiated by Divine idhn, not by human motion; likewise, a book of this nature does not carry the servant by itself; rather, it creates the readiness (istiʿdād) by which Allah allows the transfer from one state to another. This book is a wasīlah by which the reader is carried from one state into another — not by reading much, but by being addressed.
And Allah knows best who is addressed.

This book is a live speaker that pierces right through one’s mind and into the heart. The heart is a magnet to this book – what the mind cannot comprehend, the heart recognizes as tears are shed and the body trembles, falling into prostration acknowledging the truth of this holy journey. This blessed knowledge grasps one’s entire soul – it weighs heavy on one’s existence. I had to put the book down to take in deep breaths, to regain the courage to open it and read the realities of Haqeeqat e Muhammdiya s.a – to read the story of all creations including ours. This blessed book increases the love of the Prophet s.a making it gush out of the heart’s fountain. From this book, I felt that the physical existence was shut off and the secrets were written on the soul with every word – every word had immense energy and power. Surely, one must read this book over and over for the knowledge is unending. Masha Allah, Allahumdulillah for such a blessing

I will attempt to share in summary my experience with the book the Buraq Rider.
The Buraq Rider is a miraculous and phenomenal gem that takes one on a spiritual journey. As I was nearing the end of this precious gem, I did not want the pages to finish because of the beautiful experiences the soul feels and witnesses. By reading the journey of Isra Wal Mi’raj one can think that such an extraordinary event can not be experienced by an ordinary person and such paramount realities can not be understood by a regular person. One understands the reality and magnificence of Rasul Allah (S.A.W). His being and existence is so alive and true that everywhere throughout the heavens and the firmaments, his holy and blessed name was mentioned and he was praised. One's faith and certainty in the essence and high status of the most beloved of Rasul Allah (S.A.W) intensifies and makes one wonder how people can deny and falsify such a holy and glorious being. After reading this blessed gem, the love and connection with Rasul Allah (S.A.W) increases and the heart is filled with such peace and satisfaction after learning more about the beloved of Allah (S.W.T). The feeling the soul and the heart feels is so beautiful and blessed that is indescribable. The knowledge in the book is so intense and enormous that one needs to spend a great portion of their time and day contemplating these realities. It also makes one realize that when there are such great and magnificent realities out there, the value of this dunya is so so insignificant and running after this dunya is so pointless as one will reach nowhere, if not even lower. The goal should be to sit in the blessed circles and gatherings of blessed awliya who understand these supreme realities so they can help us achieve and recognize what there is to be attained.

Assalamualaykum warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu my dear Shaykh Baba Jee. Alhamdulillah last night I completed The Buraq Rider book.

I found it to be filled with many blessings and such unique knowledge, knowledge that I have never seen or heard of before. While I was reading about our Prophet SA’s journey throughout the seven firmaments and then through the veils past the Lot tree, I found myself becoming overwhelmed with emotions at times, to the point where I had to close the book to praise Allah SWT and His Rasul, and to contemplate on what magnificent knowledge I have just read.

I felt my entire body heating up suddenly at times and when Allah SWT would directly communicate to Rasulullah SA, I felt as though his presence had also enveloped me. When I felt this, I had to put the book down and was overwhelmed with emotions and praised Allah SWT for his magnificence and omnipotence.

It is very true that reading this book makes it feel as though you are also experiencing the Miraaj. This was not a reading of a book or of words, it was a fully enveloping emotional experience, one with which we can grow in our nearness to Allah SWT’s acceptance and increase our faith Inshallah. Every sentence of this book can be contemplated on. During and after reading this book, I feel a great increase in love for Allah SWT and also for Rasulullah SA, as through the book I have learnt more of how dear and beloved our messenger SA is to Allah SWT.

الحمدلله و صلوات الله وسلامه وبركاته على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم.

“Rãkib ul-Burãq” is not just a book but rather it is a magnificent ride for the reader which makes him/her part of the nocturnal journey with the blessed and beloved one, Rasul Allah Sall-Allahu alaihi wa Sallam. This magnificent book is supposed to be read page by page and requires one to reflect on the content of each page. The way the Quranic references given in this book, made me understand them for the first time from that perspective.

After reading the preface and a few initial pages of the book, I had a vision. In it, I saw a large number of people gathered outside of Zawiya Fellowship, in the parking lot. I went outside and saw that there are many great scholars. Among them was Shaikh Hisham Kabbani (may Allah bless his soul) of Tareeqa Naqshbandi. He was sitting with his disciples, as well. A large number of Awliya-Allah Salaheen were present. Some of them were praying Salat and doing dhikr and some were sitting with Shaikh Hisham (may Allah bless his soul). I asked one of them why are they gathered here for? I was told that they are all waiting for Shaikh Al-Aqili. They came to meet him and to get hold of the book “Rãkib ul-Burãq”. Subhan Allah! I went inside and told my husband to go and inform Shaikh Baba Sahib that they had all come to get the book. Ma-Shaa Allah.

After this vision, I realized how important it is to read “Burãq Rider” and the gems it holds for the reader.
