قَالَ يَحيَى بن مَعِينٍ رَحِمَهُ اللّٰهُ “مَا رَأيتُ مِثْل أَحمَدَ بِن حَنبَل؛ صَحِبنَاهُ خَمسِينَ سَنَةً مَا افتَخَرَ عَلَيْنَا بِشَيءٍ مِمَّا كَانَ فِيهِ مِنَ الصَّلَاحِ وَالخَيرِ“. “I have never seen someone like Ahmad ibn Hanbal.
