“And call humanity to perform the pilgrimage, They will come to you on foot, and others will come riding from far distant places” (Quran 22/27) وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ Eid-ul-Fitr Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday, June 28th, 2023 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 10th of the month of Dhul-Hijja 1444 Hijri.
“We also took from the Prophets their pledge, and from you, and from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus son of Maryam; We took from them a solemn binding covenant.” (Quran 33/7) وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِيثَاقَهُمْ وَمِنكَ وَمِن نُّوحٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ ۖ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَاقًا غَلِيظًا Eid-ul-Fitr Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday, June 9th, 2023 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 20th of the month of Dhul-Qa’dah 1444 Hijri.
” O believers! Hold to piety before Allah, seek the [proper] medium of winning His nearness, and strive earnestly on His path so that you may become successful.” (Qur’an 5:35) وَوَصَّىٰ بِهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يَا بَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَىٰ لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ Friday Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday, September 16th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 20th of Safar 1444 Hijri.
“O believers, fasting is ordained for you as it was ordained for those before you as your expression of piety.”. (Quran 2:183) “يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ “ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday April 1st, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 29th of Sha’ban 1443 Hijri.
Allah’s Messenger upon whom be peace says: “Indeed, in the days of your life, your Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, has special endowments, special grants, gifts, favour, and blessings requiring no payment, so be exposed to them, perhaps one of you will be recipient of such special grants and favour from him”. (Hadith ﴿ “إِنَّ لِرَبِّكُمْ عزَّ وجلَّ فِي أَيَّامِ دَهْرِكُمْ نَفَحَاتٍ، فَتَعَرَّضُوا لَهَا، لَعَلَّ أَحَدَكُمْ أَنْ تُصِيبَهُ مِنْهَا نَفْحَةٌ لا يَشْقَى بَعْدَهَا أَبَدًا” Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday March 18th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 15th of Sha’ban 1443 Hijri.
“Allah promised the believing men and women gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is where they will dwell forever, in beautiful mansions inside gardens of supreme delights, and Allah’s satisfaction with them is a even greater reward. Such is truly the most awesome win”. (Qur’an 9:72) وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ ۚ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ Eid Meelaadu Nabi [صلى الله عليه وسلم] Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Sunday October 17th, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 11th of Rabi’ul Awwal 1443 Hijri.
“And that is why We narrate to you some of the stories of the Messengers [and their endurance] in order to strengthen your heart and here comes this revelation to you in full truth for all people, a keen exhortation and a reminder for the believers.” (Qur’an 11:120) وَكُلًّا نَّقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ الرُّسُلِ مَا نُثَبِّتُ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ ۚ وَجَاءَكَ فِي هَٰذِهِ الْحَقُّ وَمَوْعِظَةٌ وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 6st, 2021 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 27th of Dhul Hijjah 1441 Hijri.
“And call humanity to perform the pilgrimage. They will come to you on foot, and others will come riding from far distant places, to participate in advantages they receive there, and to invoke the Name of Allah during appointed days and to thank Him for what He provided for them of cattle: “Eat from it and feed the unfortunate and the poor.” (Qur’an 22:27-28) وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ Eid-ul-Adha Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 11th, 2019 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 10th of Dhul Hijja 1440 Hijri.
“Make and dedicate your offering of the Primary pilgrimage [Hajj] and the Supplementary journey [Umrah] to the Divine Sovereign Lord Allah SwT”. (Qur’an 2:196) الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا Eid-ul Fitr Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday July 27th 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 14th of Zul-Qi’da 1439 Hijri.
“They certainly did not estimate Allah’s Supreme Authority correctly, when in fact, the entire earth is in his control on the Day of Judgement, and the heavens are all folded by His infinite Grace [and overall ruling command]. Most exalted is He, and He surely transcends all alleged partners they ascribe to Him”. (Qur’an 87:9-15) وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّـهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَالْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ مَطْوِيَّاتٌ بِيَمِينِهِ Eid-ul Fitr Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday July 20th 2018 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 7th of Thul-Qi’da 1439 Hijri.
