Allah’s Messenger (r) said: “There are two joys and happiness the fasting person experiences: the joy when he breaks his fast, and the joy of when he meets his Lord.” لِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ فَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يُفْطِرُ وَفَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ Eid-ul-Fitr Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Aqili Al-Omary on Friday March 20th, 2026 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 1st of the month of Shawwal 1447 Hijri.
“Seek the blessings of your Lord for your own soul, fear Allah, and bear in mind that you shall meet Him. Give such good tidings to the believers. ” (Quran 2:223) وَقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُم مُّلَاقُوهُ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ Friday Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Aqili on Friday February 6th, 2026 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 18th of the month of Sha’ban 1447 Hijri.
“Whereas [it is decreed that] no one shall bear the burden [of the sins] of another. And [that in reality] one will only reap the reward of what he strives for. And that his striving will be exposed [on the Day of Judgment]. And that he will be compensated to the full extent. (Qur’ãn Sura 54:39-41) وَأَن لَّيْسَ لِلْإِنسَانِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ وَأَنَّ سَعْيَهُ سَوْفَ يُرَىٰ ثُمَّ يُجْزَاهُ الْجَزَاءَ الْأَوْفَىٰ Friday Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday, May 16th, 2025 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 18th of the month of Dhul-Qa’da 446 Hijri.
“O people, Reverence of Allah is the highest wisdom so that you may attain true success. ” Quran: Surah Al-Maaida ﴾5:100﴿ “And whoever fears the standing before his Lord [on the Day of Judgment], he will be rewarded with two heavenly gardens. “ Quran: Surah Ar-Rahmaan ﴾55:46﴿ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَا أُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ Friday Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday, April 25th, 2025 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 27th of the month of Shawwal 1446 Hijri.
“And the thunderclaps repeat his praises and the angels do the same in fear of Him, and He is the One Who sends in the thunderbolts and strikes with them whoever He wants. And yet these people are still arguing about the Divine Sovereign Lord when He is Most Supreme in Power and capable of affecting punishment! ” (Qur’an 13:13) وَيُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ وَيُرْسِلُ الصَّوَاعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَن يَشَاءُ Friday Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday, September 8th, 2023 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 23rd of the month of Safar1445 Hijri.
“Your Lord has also decreed that you adore and worship none except Him, and to be kind to your fathers and mothers. Should one of them or both reach old-age while in your company, do not ever express annoyance or disgust by even an exclamation of disapproval such as: “fie,” nor be rough or abrupt with them, rather address them with respect and use of kind words ” (Qur’an 17:23) وَقَضَىٰ رَبُّكَ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا Friday Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday, September 1st, 2023 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 9th of the month of Safar1445 Hijri.
