Friday Sermon

His Will Be Done

“Your Lord creates whatever He wants and He chooses as He pleases. They have no chance to make their own choices! Most exalted is Allah Who is above what they ascribe as partners to Him“. Suhba with Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday June 10th, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 5th of Ramadan 1437 Hijri.

Say: “La Ilaha Il Allah”

“Know with absolute certainty that there is no Sovereign Divinity except that of Allah, ask Him to forgive you [should you make a mistake], and pray to Him to forgive the believing men and believing women; for Allah surely knows whatever changes you go through [in the lower life] and He also knows your ultimate destiny [thereafter]” . Suhba with Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday June 3rd, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 27th of Sha’ban 1437 Hijri.

Be Grateful, Never Deny the Truth

“[O people!] Be conscious of Allah the best you can, hearken [to the admonition], obey and spend in charity for the sake of what would be more beneficial and rewarding for yourselves, and whoever is saved and protected against his own covetousness [miserliness; stinginess], then such ones will reap the success they aspire for.” . (Quran 64:16) “ الإِيمَانُ نِصْفَانِ: نِصْفٌ شُكْرٌ ، وَنِصْفٌ صَبْرٌ ” – ” فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ “ Suhba with Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday May 27th, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 20th of Sha’ban 1437 Hijri.

Spread the Good News

“Give the glad tidings, [the good news] to My servants; such ones who when they listen to the admonition, they heed and follow what is best in its guidance. Those are the ones whom Allah has guided, and they are the ones who can benefit from their good understanding” . Suhba with Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday May 20th, 2016 C.E. at Annoor Mosque, the 13th of Sha’ban 1437 Hijri.

The Companions of Paradise

“Say: “If the oceans were ink to write down the Words of my Lord, the oceans will be exhausted even before the Words of my Lord are spoken in full, and that’s indefinitely, and even if we were to supplement them with equal amount of ink. Say: “I am only human like you. It was revealed to me that your Lord is the One and Only Divine Sovereign Lord. Therefore, whoever hopes to meet with his Lord, let him engage in doing righteous deeds, and never associate in his worship anyone besides his Lord.” . Suhba with Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday May 13th,…

Hasten To Receive Your Lord’s Forgiveness

“Hasten to receive forgiveness from your Lord, and to win [eternal dwellings in the comfort of] paradise, which breadth extends across the entire heavens and the earth, and such [reward] is prepared for the pious ones [who are reverent of their Lord; who fear wrongdoing; who fear the consequences of sinful actions]”. Suhba with Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday May 6st, 2016 C.E. at Masjidun-Noor, the 29th of Rajab 1437 Hijri.

Supplications and Reckoning

“Our Lord, and raise a Messenger from among them, who will recite Your revelations to them, and who will instruct them according to the Book, teach them wisdom, and purify them. You are indeed the Most Exalted in might, the All-Wise. Suhba with Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday April 29th, 2016 C.E. at Masjidun-Noor, the 22nd of Rajab 1437 Hijri.

Malã’ika-Angels, the Honorable Companions

“Those who carry the Divine Throne, and those circumambulating it, celebrating the praises of their Lord and have faith in Him, they also implore for His Mercy to forgive the believers [their misdeeds]. [They pray]: “Our Lord! Your Mercy and Compassion reach everything. Forgive those who repented and followed Your Path, and safeguard them from suffering in hellfire.” Suhba with Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday April 1st, 2016 C.E. at Masjidun-Noor, the 23rd of Jamadil-Thani 1437 Hijri.

Your Knowledge is Your Religion

“And We place the scales of justice [ready] for the Day of Judgment, where no soul will ever be treated unjustly whatsoever, and even if the issue bore the weight of a single [tiny] mustard seed, We will bring it there, and sufficient that We are there for a just reckoning. ” (Quran 21:47) إِنَّ هَذَا الْعِلْمَ دِينٌ فَانْظُرُوا عَمَّنْ تَأْخُذُونَ دِينَكُم “Knowledge is your religion, therefore, find out from whom you learn your religion.” (Muhammad Ibn Seerin) Suhba with Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday March 18th, 2016 C.E. at Masjidun-Noor, the 9th of Jamadil-Thani 1437 Hijri.
