Here We Come Our Lord

“And call humanity to perform the pilgrimage. They will come to you on foot, and others will come riding from far distant places, to participate in advantages they receive there, and to invoke the Name of Allah during appointed days and to thank Him for what He provided for them of cattle: “Eat from it and feed the unfortunate and the poor.” (Qur’an 22:27-28) وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ Eid-ul-Adha Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday August 11th, 2019 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 10th of Dhul Hijja 1440 Hijri.

A Blessed Qurbani on Eid-ul-Azha through Baraka of “Durood Sharif” Br. Abdur Razzaq What happened next was shocking! The day before Eid, there was an acute shortage of lambs for Qurbani! I was immediately Thankful to our Rabb (Allah Subhana Hoo Wa Tala) and felt comfort weave through my heart. I reflected at the moment on the special blessing from reciting “Durood Sharif” and felt that this was a sign from Allah Subhana Hoo Wa Tala. After all, every year I had bought the animals on the last day, this year miraculously, or not, depending on how you see it, I was motivated or inspired (depending on how you see it) to purchase the lambs early.
