Ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) narrated that Allah (ِعز وجل) revealed to Adam: “I have a sanctuary opposite My Throne, so go and build Me a house there, then surround it as you saw My angels surround My Throne, for there I will answer you and your descendants, whoever among them is obedient to Me.”
عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ،أَنَّ اللهَ أَوْحَى إِلَى آدَمَ: أَنَّ لِي حَرَمًا بِحِيَالِ عَرْشِي، فَانْطَلِقْ فَابْنِ لِي بَيْتًا فِيهِ ، ثُمَّ حُفَّ بِهِ كَمَا رَأَيْتَ ملَائِكَتِي يِحُفُّونَ بِعَرْشِي ، فَهُنَالِكَ أَسْتَجِيبُ لَكَ وَلِوُلْدِكَ ، مَنْ كَانَ مِنْهُمْ فِي طَاعَتِي.
