Friday Sermon

“Whoever does good deeds having faith, whether a male or a female, We will grant him a good life, and We will compensate them later with better rewards than what they did”. (Qur’an 16:97) مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ Friday Khutbah by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday, May 20th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 19th of Shawwal 1443 Hijri.

ِ”After I am gone, you will see great conflict. I urge you to adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah path of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs. Cling stubbornly to it, and beware of newly-invented matters, for every innovation is a going astray“. (Prophetic Hadith) سَتَرَوْنَ مِنْ بَعْدِي اخْتِلاَفًا شَدِيدًا فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِسُنَّتِي وَسُنَّةِ الْخُلَفَاءِ الرَّاشِدِينَ الْمَهْدِيِّينَ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday May 13th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 12th of Shawwal 1443 Hijri.

ِAllah’s Prophet (uwbp) said: “Allah, the Most High has revealed to me that you (people) should be humble, so that no one transgresses against another, or boasts himself towards the other“. (Hadith) إِنَّ اَللَّهَ أَوْحَىٰ إِلَيَّ أَنْ تَوَاضَعُوا، حَتَّى لَا يَبْغِيَ أَحَدٌ عَلَى أَحَدٍ، وَلَا يَفْخَرَ أَحَدٌ عَلَى أَحَدٍ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday May 6th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 5th of Shawwal 1443 Hijri.

Allah’s Messenger, sal-uwbp says: “One who fasted the holy month of Ramadan enjoys two types of happiness: One joy when he breaks his fast at Eid, and another joy when he meets his Lord “. (Hadith) لِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَيْنِ فَرْحَةً عِنْدَ إِفْطَارِهِ، وَفَرْحَةً يَوْمَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ   Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Monday  May 2nd, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 2nd of Shawwal 1443 Hijri.

“By the soul and He Who assigned its due purpose, and Who made known to it [what amounts to] immorality and [what constitutes] piety, whoever purifies it [by following the Divine admonition] will achieve success, and whoever corrupts it [by indulging in what is impermissible,] will surely grieve with sorrow.) “. (Qur’an 91:7-10) وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا ‏فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّاهَا وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّاهَا  Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday April 29th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 28th of Ramadan 1443 Hijri.

“That this is indeed a most gracious Quran, which is kept in a safeguarded Book, that only the sanctified ones do carry it.  A Revelation from the Divine Lord of all creations” “. (Qur’an 56:77-80)  إِنَّهُ لَقُرْآنٌ كَرِيمٌ  ‎فِي كِتَابٍ مَّكْنُونٍ‏ لَّا يَمَسُّهُ إِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُونَ تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِي  Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday April 22nd, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 21nd of Ramadan 1443 Hijri.

“I am Allah. There is no Divine Sovereign Lord except Me. Therefore, worship Me, and hold regularly to Salat prayers to continue celebrating My praises.” “The [Last] Hour is certainly coming before too long. I am just about to reveal it, so that each soul receives its just retribution according to its own striving”. (Quran 20:14-15) إِنَّنِي أَنَا اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدْنِي وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِ إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخْفِيهَا لِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا تَسْعَىٰ  ‎ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday April 15th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 14th of Ramadan 1443 Hijri.

“O Prophet! We have indeed sent you as a witness, bearing glad tidings, and as a warner.  A harbinger heralding people to Allah by His permission, and as a bright shining lamp spreading the light. (therefor) and announce to the believers that they will receive an immense bounty from Allah”. (Quran 33:45-47) يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ شَاهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا ‏وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى اللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَسِرَاجًا مُّنِيرًا ‎ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday April 8th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 7th of Ramadan 1443 Hijri.

“And evince your true endurance by cherishing those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His pleasure and acceptance, and always keep your eyes on them”. (Quran 18:28) “وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ “ Friday Khutba by Shaykh Al-Akili on Friday March 25th, 2022 C.E. at Annoor Jami Mosque, the 22nd of Sha’ban 1443 Hijri.
