قصيدة أبو بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه
| O my Lord, kindly help this one who has very limited provision in deeds. He has also lost everything and he is taking shelter in Your benevolence. |
| His sins are too many and major, O Forgiving Lord, forgive them by an excellent pardon, He is too strange a person, full of sins, and he is a very weak servant. |
| From him nothing comes but failure, mutiny and endless mistakes, And from You always comes goodness and overflowing Grace. |
| Says he “ O my Lord, my sins are too many as a sea of sands, Kindly pardon each and every one of my sins, and extend the of Your best forgiveness, my Lord |
| What will happen to me O my Lord when I have not done any good, Most of my doings are all bad, and the total of my servitude is poor and limited |
| My heart is sick, and You are the Healer of every illness, My Lord save me from all kinds of them and extend to me my real needs. |
| Lord, protect me from the fire of Hell, as You had saved Abraham, By directing Your order to the fire; “O Fire! Be safe and cool to Abraham”. |
| You are the Solver of all problems and provider of all necessities, Sufficient for me that You my Deputy; You are my Lord and agent my best |
| Lord, be my deputy and grant me what I desire in essence, Bestow from Your Holy Gift a treasure, and show me the best of guidance |
| You are the Judge of the Judgment Day, whilst Jibreel is Your caller, Grant us from Your kingdom and save us from whatever we fear |
| Where are Noah and Moses, and where are Yahya and Jesus, O Siddiq rebellious with sins, repent to Allah the Glorious |

|
خُذْ بِلُطْفِكَ يِا إِلَٰهِي مَنْ لَهُ زَادٌ قَلِيلٌ مُفْلِسٌ بِالصِّدْقِ يَأْبِي عِنْدَ بَابِكَ يَا جَلِيلُ |
|
ذَنْبُهُ ذَنْبٌ عَظِيمٌ فَاغْفِرِ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِيمَ إِنَّهُ شَخْصٌ غَرِيبٌ مُذْنِبٌ عَبْدٌ ذَلِيلُ |
|
مِنْهُ عِصْيَانٌ وَنِسْيَانٌ وَسَهْوٌ بَعْدَ سَهْوٍ مِنْكَ إِحْسَانٌ وَفَضْلٌ بَعْدَ إِعْطَاءِ الْجَزِيلِ |
|
قَٰالَ يَا رَبِّ ذُنُوبِي مِثْلَ رَمْلٍ لَا يُعَدُّ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي كُلَّ ذَنْبٍ فَاصْفَحِ الصَّفْحَ الْجَمِيلَ |
|
كَيْفَ حَالِي يَا إلَٰهِي لَيْسَ لِي خُيْرُ الْعَمَلِ سُوءُ أَعْمَالِي كَثِيرٌ زَادُ طَاعَاتِي قَلِيلُ |
|
عَافِنِي مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ وَاقْضِ عَنِّي حَاجَتِي إِنَّ لِي قَلْبًا سَقِيمًا أَنْتَ مَنْ يَشْفِي الْعَليِلَ |
|
قُلْ لِنَارِي ابْرُدِي يَا رَبِّ فَي حَقِّي كَمَا قُلْتَ قُلْنَا يَا نَارُ كُونِي أَنْتِ فِي حَقِّ الْخَلِيلِ |
|
أَنْتَ شَافِي أَنْتَ كَافِي فِي مُهِمَّاتِ الْأُمُورِ أَنْتَ رَبِّي أَنْتَ حَسْبِي أَنْتَ لِي نِعْمَ الْوَكِيلِ |
|
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي كَنْزَ فَضْلٍ أَنْتَ وَهَّابٌ كَرِيمٌ أَعْطِنِي مَا فِي ضَمِيرِي دُلَّنِي خَيَر الدَّلِيلِ |
|
هَبْ لَنَا مُلْكاً كَبِيرًا نَجِّنَا مِمَّا نَخَافُ رَبَّنَا إِذْ أَنْتَ قَاضِي وَالْمُنَادِىٰ جِبْرِيلُ |
|
أَيْنَ مُوسَىٰ أَيْنَ عِيسَىٰ أَيْنَ يَحْيَىٰ أَيْنَ نُوحٍ أَنْتَ يَا صِدِّيقُ عَاصِي تُبْ إِلى اْلَمْوَلى الْجَلِيلِ |
